I took a short drive after work today to check out Granite Road again. The golden Fiddleneck covered hills were gone, but further up the road near Granite Station, there were some nice fields full of color (Phacelia, Gilia and Lupine and Popcorn Flower). I might go back and check out Woody Road again tomorrow, when I stil have some decent light (I got there too late today and the sun had already set). There were some nice patches of color on the hills and in the town, too.
