A lot of wildlife can be seen along the LIttle Lakes Valley trail. Golden Mantled Ground Squirrels are regularly seen in the rocks. Birds like Mountain Chickadees, American Robins and Dark Eyed Juncos are seen in the trees and on the ground, rustling up a bite to eat. Pika are sometimes seen high up in the rocks, and Belding's Ground Squirrels (pictured here) are seen in the meadows.
