Birding in Bakersfield
Just a few photos of some birds (and a Bobcat) spotted around Bakersfield. It was a foggy day, so the pics aren't very colorful - lol. Thanks to my friend Ali for helping me with the ID's :)
Lake Ming - Bobcat
This bobcat was trotting along the dirt road off of the side of the lake. He didn't pay us much mind. Just kept trotting along til he finally laid down in some brush and proceeded to lick his paws - lol.
Hart Park - American Coot feet
American Coots have such cool looking feet - they look like lizard feet
