I went up to the Antelope Valley Poppy Preserve today. It was a nice, sunny day with light winds...a lot unlike last week where it was cloudy, cold and windy. There seemed to be even more flowers this week. Even on the sides of the roads, there were patches of poppies and goldfields and some lupine too. The whole landscape seemed like it had been painted. There were quite a few people out on the trails. There were quite a few on the sides of the roads snapping pictures too. I even saw a man painting on the side of the road.
